GARNER, Lora Secrest - Putnam

Mrs. Lora Garner, 70, of near Raccoon, died at her home Saturday evening. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Raccoon Monday afternoon. Burial was in Brick Chapel cemetery. She was born in the Raccoon area February 3, 1868, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth McMahan Secrest. Survivors are the husband, Walter, son Chester, of near here, a sister, Mrs. Blanche Runyon of California and a granddaughter, Miss Janet Garner of Indianapolis    ---- thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for donating her Roachdale Times obituary collection
